Earlier, Patrick contacted me before so that I could capture when he proposed to Mel. So, when they reached out to me to handle their engagement photoshoot, I was so excited!!! 🫶🏼

For this shoot, we decided to walk around and shoot throughout Row DTLA. However, you may know it as Alameda Square, which is what it was known as before. This location is an AMAZING commercial area right outside of the Fashion District. There are shops, restaurants, pop-up events, and so many creative spaces, and the architecture is modern and incredible. That’s how we were able to get such a different range of locations! 

This place has a huge variety of locations for pictures, like in front of gorgeous windows and buildings. For this shoot, we were also able to walk to some stairwells and ended up on a rooftop overlooking Downtown LA!

Mel also had an outfit change, where she switched from a gorgeous white minidress to a powerful white pantsuit! Undoubtedly, my favorite shot from this day was the black and white photo of Patrick hugging Mel from behind. 🤍
